- If you HAVE NOT played 0.6.1 and DON'T NEED your saves, then DELETE previous version and install 0.7
- If you HAVE NOT played 0.6.1 and WANT TO KEEP your saves from 0.6, READ FURTHER
Because the android version now has new save placement, to keep your saves you need to follow these steps or watch a video guide:
1) Copy or Move your old saves from there they are located to any other folder
- Android 10 or older - "Android\data\RenPy\MurMur-#Numbers"
- Android 11 or higher - "Android\data\com.dd.murmur\files\saves"
!!! NOT FOLDER "files\saves" BUT WHAT'S INSIDE OF IT !!!
You will need a file manager to have access to these folders, for example this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer
2) Delete the game - this should delete saves from old folders stated above
3) Install the new update, launch it once and allow asked permission - this is necessary in order for the game to create a new save folder
4) Copy or Move your save files to the new folder that was created by the app after the launch, paste overwriting everything
- New save folder location - "Documents\RenPy_Saves\com.dd.murmur"
5) Launch the game and if you have your save files, you did everything correct, if not, recheck every step you did and folders where you've pasted files
6) Play and enjoy

Just finished the 0.7 its great!, you did great remaking liz's hair but it's kinda weird when i look at her, & the motorbike when i saw it i said "i know where this is going" *spoiler* and yeah thats where they go somewhere & helen open up's (seen things like this in other avns and movies) .And i think i need to restart and the game next update because some scenes are locked i need to fix the choices I've made...keep it up Dd!
What! It's over a year already? I just found out that my saves is a year ago and I've already deleted the game when I was done with it, if this saves are there even when I deleted the app and files a year ago, is it still fine or not? I don't want download it for me to find the answer because I don't want to waste my gb. Pls be fine
I don't understand what you mean by "download it for me" and what you fear of too. It's the intent that saves stay even if you delete the game so that you can install a new version later and play from where you stopped. Nothing wrong with it.
UPD: If you're not sure if your saves are there or not, then you can check them in these locations:
Android 10 or older - Android\data\RenPy\MurMur-#Numbers
Android 11 or higher - Android\data\com.dd.murmur\files\saves
I mean is that my location area is low on network(data) and my storage space is lacking, that means I've got to delete something important then redownload it when I'm done playing your game but I don't want to download something that I've already play just to repeat the process because that takes a lot of time. (No saves)
Was it programmed to be like that "The intent that saves stay" because I deleted some certain visual novel and when the update comes I download it again and the saves file is nowhere to be found(The file manager renoy saves murmur) it seems the saves is deleted along with the visual novel, so, yeah, just to be sure, I don't want to stumble upon an error. If you say it's okay, I conjecture I believe your words for now.
By default, in any similar game, saves are deleted when the game is deleted. Which is an issue that some devs try to solve.
Almost from the beginning of the MurMur, all saves are stored separately from the game. From your words, it appears that you've played version 0.6.1 previously and after deleting the game they should've stayed there in the folder that I mentioned above. You can check if there are files to be sure that you haven't deleted them accidentally by yourself after deleting the game. If you played 0.6.1, then you can simply continue with 0.7.

I just finished 0.7 and it told me to save before the 'continue' page but when I went to save it wouldn't work the button was grayed out and unavailable. I just played this game for 5 hours straight and I do not want to restart all my progress... Please tell me you have a fix for this :(
Use the scroll wheel to roll back if you're on PC, or load previous autosave if you're on mobile. And for the future, it's best to save often if you don't want to lose your progress as it can be lost for different reasons I can't control :)

Because it's said "Save before" and not after. This means that you have to scroll or press back, and then save.

As of now, only English language is officially available in the game, and most likely will stay this way until 1.0 release or even after. But you can try looking out for fan made translations modifications on the net.

@Devil's Dad i just wanted to give my honest appreciation for this visual novel since i literally just finish it, i saw the development log and noticed it takes years/several months for a new update and that's completely understandable. Anyway i hope all the best towards you/all for making this it's definitely up there as (Once in a Lifetime,etc) one of the best hopefully im still alive until this game is finished:)

What software is used to this kind of arts style. Is it Daz with a lower render setting, or something different? Though it might not be a lower res just an older gen of models, and I'm comparing them to gen 9. I'm kicking around making something but I'd have to self-teach and if there is a more intuitive software, that might help. I have the storyline and coding going strong, just need images.

finally after ages of waiting bro drops an update. I'll give an update of my own, I have started a family, travelled to pluto and back, colonised another solar system and updated my PC. The only thing that kept me motivated was waiting for this update. I fought bears, lions, tigers with my mind focused on this one thing. I went to sleep and woke up frothing in the mouth waiting for this update. I taught my 4 month old son how to play war thunder while waiting for it. I had a fist fight against the planet earth itself and won with ease while my focus was waiting. Now that i have this nothing in this universe can stand in my way. time to play

Just wanted to leave a quick thank you. Your game is amazing. Just the right mix of consistant (and good) story and choice, MC without a face etc. It ticks almost every box for me.

PS. i play with universal renpy mod to see what devs do in their games. Damn bro, you have put in so many Variables that make little changes here and there. Every few panels a variable. Thats so impressive! Sure, must of them are only slight variations in the wording, but thats enough for a different vibe. You should advertise replayability more.
PPS. If its not to much work, how about a slider to adjust the font size? Can be a me problem since i play on a old 1080p monitior but at times, text that fit in one line is displayed in 2 lines and that hides the beautiful pictures. But this is just a suggestion- If it takes more than 30 minutes of work, it might not be worth the effort.

About font size, sadly I can't allow it to be changeable because it's made specifically to fit large dialogues. Making it bigger will break some of them.

It seems like it's the issue with your firewall or something, everything that is not compressed is on external links, one of three should work. And there is no difference in normal and compressed versions content wise.

There’s a scene called Help Kate Navigate Your Desire. I’ve gotten the 2nd scene but starting a new game and trying full lewd, full love, and in between hasn’t unlocked the first.
